Accepted file formats
We accept most formats, but some are better than others.
Adobe Illustrator
Best choice. Fully scalable vector format.
Encapsulated PostScript
Excellent. Industry-standard vector format.
Scalable Vector Graphic
Great. Modern vector format, widely supported.
Portable Document Format
Good if saved with vector data (not flattened).
Portable Network Graphic
Acceptable at 300dpi+. Transparent background preferred.
JPEG Image
Avoid if possible. Lossy compression affects quality.
Don't have a vector file? No problem. Our designers can recreate your logo as a vector for free. Just send us the best quality file you have.
Artwork do's and don'ts
Follow these guidelines for the best print results.
Do
- Use vector files (AI, EPS, SVG) whenever possible
- Include your Pantone colour codes for accurate colour matching
- Provide artwork at the actual print size or larger
- Use a transparent background for logos (PNG or AI)
- Include all fonts outlined/embedded in your file
- Provide separate artwork for each colour if screen printing
Don't
- Don't send low-resolution JPGs or screenshots
- Don't use gradients or drop shadows for screen printing
- Don't embed fonts without outlining them first
- Don't use RGB colour mode — convert to CMYK or Pantone
- Don't send artwork smaller than the intended print size
- Don't worry if you don't have the right files — we can help!
